Ahh, Paris, the beautiful city of love. This is a throwback to summer of 2012, and the first trip we took together while dating. It was love at first sight. The city I mean (he and I were already in love at this point lol). I used to think that places like this were overhyped until I actually went here.
It's absolutely beautiful, and something about actually seeing the magnificence of the the Eiffel Tower with your own eyes is just jaw dropping.
Be warned though, it can be quite pricey, so stock your wallet with extra Euro because you never know when you'll get a surprise charge of 9 Euros for ordering a "water" with your meal.
There are many beautiful attractions to see in Paris, and from our experience, the cheapest and most convenient way of doing this is to pay for a ticket for one of those "hop on hop off" double decker buses to get you from point A to point B. I want to say at the time it was between $25-$30 USD per person, but you can use them as many times in a day as you like, and they run very frequently. Stops for these buses are located all over the city.
Now, Europeans in general tend to dress pretty well, and they pride themselves into putting effort in their appearance (Paris is the fashion capital of the world), so keep that in mind when you're trying to figure out what to pack for your trip. You'll most likely be doing A LOT of walking, so pack your most comfortable (but stylish) pair of shoes.
French baguettes, croissants, macaroons, and coffee. I hope you love carbs as much as I do because they're everywhere, and they're delicious! There's just something so magical about sitting outdoors in a French cafe, sipping on your favorite latte, and people watching. This is the perfect chance for you to drop some fire onto your Instagram feed.
If you really want to dine like a local, grab a bottle of wine, some snacks (and by snacks I mean French sweets or some amazing pizza), and have a picnic in the park next to the Eiffel Tower. You won't regret it. Well, your pants might, but it'll be worth it. ;)
