Being someone who is a HUGE fan of K-Pop, K-Dramas, K-Beauty, Korean Food, and Korean fashion, this place was HEAVEN for me. I don't know why, but I've always loved Korean culture for as long as I can remember. It would be a dream to actually get to live in Seoul one day. I was lucky enough to spend 3 whole weeks in Korea, and I never wanted to leave.
Now, you might be a bit familiar with Korean BBQ, but have you ever had Spicy Pig Feet?! ERRRMAHGERRDDDDD. SO FINGER LICKIN' GOOD! I know it might sound a bit weird, but seriously though, don't knock it till you try it. Pork Belly is also delicious. One of my favorite things about Korean restaurants is all of the banchan (side dishes) that you get with your meals. Cucumber & radish kimchi are probably my favs.
Also, there's nothing like grabbing some yakimandu (dumplings) from the street vendors after a night of soju-pong. That's right. You can actually play soju-pong instead of beer pong, but take it easy because that soju will really hit you when you least expect it.
If you want some good boba aka bubble tea, hit up the nearest Gong Cha, and you will not be disappointed.
Good shopping is everywhere in Korea. If you're looking for something trendy and cheap, check out all of the shops in the underground subway stations. If you want to shop in actual stores and boutiques, hit up Myeongdong.
The COEX mall is pretty cool too. They've even got this awesome aquarium in there where you can see all of these cool fish. The giant sharks was my favorite part. I sat there watching them swim around for like an hour!
I could probably write an entire book about all of the cool things Korea has to offer, but for now, I think this is long enough haha.
