Japan has just launched it's healthiest Coca-Cola product yet: Coca-Cola Plus.
Although I'm not sure if this is a limited edition item, or if it will remain in stores permanently, I hope it's here to stay.
If you're wondering what makes this drink so special, you're not the only one.
Intrigued by the packaging, I decided to do some digging in order to find out why should I choose Coca-Cola plus as my go to instead of my typical Coke Zero, and here's what I found out...
It's got zero calories, zero sugar, and it contains five grams of indigestible dextrin, which is a source of dietary fiber – per 470-ml bottle.
The brand claims that "drinking one Coca-Cola Plus per day with food will help suppress fat absorption and help moderate the levels of triglycerides in the blood after eating."
The crazy part is that it tastes nothing like Diet Coke or Coke Zero, but it actually tastes like a regular Coke.
They don't have to tell me twice. I know exactly what I'll be drinking from now on when I need a refreshing Coke.
