IPSY June Glam Bag 2017

Theme: "Volume Up"

My June Glam Bag from Ipsy is here almost a month early, and your girl couldn't be more excited!

Let's break down what's inside:

1.) BioRepublic Skincare

Aloe Rescue Revitalizing Fiber Mask

Green Tea Detox Purifying Fiber Mask

2.)NYX Professional Makeup

Whipped Lip & Cheek Soufflé in "Plush"

3.)DOUCCE Maxlash Volumizer Mascara

4.)Pure Brazilian Shine Ultra Light Nourishing Oil

5.)theBalm Cosmetics "Balm Springs" Blush

The bag this month gives me some serious

retro pop-up vibes.

Not something I'm personally too crazy about.

I thought it would be a bit more edgy, sort of like the image on the theme card,

but it's still practical at the end of the day.

Alright, let's move on to what actually matters,

which is the contents of the bag...

First thing are these sheet masks from BioRepublic.

Now if you know anything about me you'll know I'm a sucker for skincare.

Sheet masks are great because it's like lazy skincare. The best part is not having to wash your face off afterwards.

I haven't yet tried anything from this brand before, but I know these will come in handy after a full day out in the sun.

(retails for $4.99/sheet)

Next we have this Whipped Lip & Cheek Soufflé from NYX in the shade "Plush".

To me it seems very similar, if not the same as the NYX's Soft Matte Lip Creams.

It even smells like them-

a pleasant sweet vanilla scent.

Although I don't think I will be using this on my cheeks, it's great for a natural everyday lip.

Also let me just say, this is NOT a liquid lipstick, so it won't last as long.

(retails for $6)

Next we have this black Maxlash Volumizer Mascara from Doucce (pronounced doh-seh).

I got this same mascara from Ipsy quite some time ago and have only just now used it.

Is it anything special or mind blowing?

If I'm going to be honest, then no.

It's great to give added volume to the lashes,

but it doesn't lengthen them the way other mascaras can.

(retails for $22 full size)

Ok, I have to take a deep breath before I jump into this one.

It's another....*drumroll*....hair oil.

I'm not familiar with this brand, and although I'm sure it's great, I'm not exactly jumping for joy.

I seriously have enough of these to last me the next 5 years at this point lol.

(retails for $26 full size)

Last, but not least we have this blush from

the Balm in the shade "Balm Springs".

It's a nice peachy-pink shade, and it has a matte finish.

So if you don't like sparkles, shimmer, and glitter, this might be the blush for you.

(retails for $21 full size)

And that concludes what's in my bag for this month.

Overall, I would rate the bag a 4/5 this month.

If you're new to IPSY, it's a $10/month subscription service where you receive 4-5 beauty samples each month.
