It's that time of year where Drift Day has come upon us once again, and I couldn't be more excited.
Our first that we attended was last year.
If you'd like to see the photos and videos from that event, you can do so HERE.
Anyways, let's rewind back to the beginning. Motorland is located in a little town in Japan called Nanbu (Aomori Pref.)
It's about a one hour drive from Misawa and roughly cost us about 1,000 YEN ($10 USD) in tolls to get there.
We paid 500 YEN ($5) for parking, and 1,000 Yen ($10) for admission for two.
Although this year an ITT trip was available for this event, I can honestly say it's probably less hassle to just drive yourself.
It's really not that far.
The event went from about 10am-6pm, and luckily there were food/drink tents this time around,
so if you got hungry you had access to some yakitori, yakisoba, shaved ice, fries, beer, ect.
The best part of the entire event was that they were giving free drift rides to people,
and Wayland and I happened to be one of them.
It was seriously one of the coolest things that I've ever experienced!
At one point when my driver was drifting, I thought the car was going to flip,
but instead of being nervous and scared,
it gave me that much more of an adrenaline rush.
If you really want to get in on the action, I've got an extra long vlog for you to check out HERE,
and if not, then enjoy the rest of these photos.
