What's In My IPSY December Glam Bag 2017 | "Snow Globe"

Theme: "Snow Globe"

So my December Glam Bag from Ipsy has finally arrived, and I'm dying to share with you

guys what's inside.

The theme for this month was "Snow Globe".

As always, let's talk about the bag design first.

I like the colors and the sparkle,

and I can see where they were going with it,

but I'm not in love with it.

I don't hate it either though.

With a little bit of tweaking to the design, I feel like this could have been a really nice bag.

Hey Ipsy, if you ever see this, hire me on to your design team so that we can make some magic happen.

I've got a lot of great ideas for you!

Anywho, let's break down what's inside:

1.) OFRA Cosmetics Liquid Lipstick in "Ipsy Unzipped"

2.) Dirty Little Secret Cosmetics Eyeshadow Crayon in "Fetch"

3.) Rimmel London Stay Matte Primer

4.)LUXIE Beauty Precision Shader Onyx Brush 239

5.) FEEL Brilliant Bamboo Charcoal Facial Sheet Mask

First we have these sheet masks from a Korean brand called Feel (Brilliant?).

I really like the fact that instead of just one mask, Ipsy typically sends two of them.

By this point, I feel like I don't even have to explain myself when it comes to K-beauty.

Although I haven't tried this brand, I already know they're probably going to be good.

I see the words "pore minimizer" and that's already good enough for me.

($35 for a set of 4 masks)

Next we have the Stay Matte primer from Rimmel London which happens to be full size.

I'm typically not a fan of drugstore products,

but I'm willing to give this baby a shot.

I've used this primer before years ago when I first started getting into makeup, so I can't remember if it was a good product.

I do have quite oily skin, so we will put it to the test to see if it really works well.

Let me know if you guys want an updated review later on to see whether it's worth buying or not.

(Retail price $6.49)

Next we have this

Precision Shader Onyx Brush from LUXIE.

I've gotten quite a few LUXIE brushes in the past from Ipsy, and I absolutely love them.

After washing, they don't shed which is important. I'm super happy to be receiving this product.

I do believe this particular brush is exclusive to Ipsy only, but they do have a similar one on their website.

(Similar brush retail price $14)

Another item I received is this eyeshadow crayon from Dirty Little Secret in the shade "Fetch".

Just the name of the shade alone is giving me major Gretchen Weiners vibes, and I'm living for it.

This is a brand that I've been dying to try, so I was quite surprised and happy to see it in my bag.

Whenever I get eyeshadow from Ipsy, it's usually always the same bronze shade, and it's gotten to the point where I can't even stand the color bronze anymore because they sent me

so much of the same shades.

This shade however...

...is EVERYTHING I've ever wanted and more. It's absolutely stunning in person, and the camera does not do it justice.

The first picture I took in artifical lighting, and the second picture in natural lighting, trying my best to capture it's beauty.

The formula is very creamy and gives off gold reflects to this peachy/pink shade.

In the sunlight it gives off a beautiful iridescent sparkle, and I think it will look so so pretty on. Especially for those with blue/green eyes.

It can be used as an eyeshadow, base, or highlighter,

and the claims are that it doesn't crease.

(Retail price $14)

Also pictured in the photo (shade on the left) is the OFRA liquid lipstick in the shade "Ipsy Unzipped".

Although it's a liquid lipstick, it does seem to transfer a bit, and it washed off quite easily

with soap and water.

The company claims that it doesn't dry down fully, and you should avoid eating/drinking for the first 15 minutes after applying it.

They also claim it lasts up to 5 hours, despite not fully drying down.

Other liquid lipsticks that I've tried in the past can only be taken off with an oil based remover,

so I want to say this won't be as long lasting compared to other brands such as

Kat Von D or Limecrime.

That also might make it a bit more comfortable on the lips.

I'll have to do a wear test first before I give my final verdict.

(Retail price $20)

And that concludes what I got in my glam bag.

The total content of the bag comes out to be

worth about $72!

Overall, I would rate the bag a 5/5 this month.

If you're new to IPSY, it's a $10/month subscription service where you receive

4-5 beauty samples each month.

If you'd like to check out it out for yourself, you can do so HERE.
