My February glam bag from Ipsy is here!
In all fairness, it's been here for a hot minute (still waiting on my March bag lol),
but I've just moved from Japan to Italy and finally got my computer back.
So without further adieu, let's just jump in.
As you probably already know, I have to give my two cents about the bag design and it's...ummm...ok...
I personally prefer the more structured bags,
so I'm not really feeling this one.
Last year's February bag was a million times cuter, but hey...
Alright, now let's break down what's inside:
First thing in the bag is this contour brush from a brand called F.A.R.A.H Brushes.
Idk if it's just me, but the purple color of this brush is giving me major Justin Bieber vibes from back when his career first took off, and his signature color was always purple lol.
I feel like I'm becoming a brush whore because I just love getting new brushes.
(Retail price $12)
Next we have the
Bye Bye Under Eye concealer from It Cosmetics.
I've been dying to get my hands on this concealer for so long, and it's finally in my possession!
And get this, it actually seems to match my pale skin tone, so a girl is happy.
The main reason why I wanted this concealer is because it claims to be anti-aging,
and a sista needs all the help she can get,
you nah what I'm sayin'?
($24 for full size)
Next we have a baked highlighter from a brand that I think is fairly new (correct me if I'm wrong)called Estate cosmetics, because I couldn't find anything about this highlighter on google.
Can I just say, this color is so beautiful!
It's so stunning on the skin, and it has slight reflects of blue and pink hues.
I'm absolutely obsessed!
Also, the fact that they called it "Dew Me"
(Retail price $10)
Next we have this liquid lipstick from Mellow Cosmetics in the shade "Tehran".
It's quite similar to a few lipsticks I already own, but one can never have enough nudes, right?
The pigmentation is great, and there's not much to complain about.
Although I do wish Ipsy would send out some extra light nude shades for pale girls like me,
because these shades always look so beautiful on darker complexions, and on me they just look extra dark and brown.
Ok, maybe I'm just salty that I don't have Kylie Jenner's lips, but whatever.
(Full size $14)
Last but not least, we have these two primer sheet masks from BioBelle.
The idea is that you put them on for five minutes before you do your makeup,
and they act as a moisturizing primer.
Something along those lines anyways...
I haven't tried any primer sheet masks before, so I'm excited to give these a go.
And that concludes what's in this month's bag!
Which of these items were your favorite?
Overall, I would rate the bag a 5/5 this month.
If you're new to IPSY, it's a $10/month subscription service where you receive
