Wow, it's been a minute since I've posted anything on here...ummm hi, hellurrr.
And no I haven't forgotten about my part 2 to the Rome Travel Blog.
Life has just gotten in the way a bit.
Today we're discussing the November Glam Bag from Ipsy, and to be honest,
I'm not even mad at it.
The bag itself is kind of cute.
It's better than some of the past ones that's for sure.
Let's break down what's inside:
First up we have two sheet masks from
These are always a win in my book because you don't have to wash your face afterwards like you do
with a mud/clay mask.
It was my first time trying out this brand,
but I do have to say, they are quite nice.
They were very moisturizing, and the sheet itself didn't feel cheap.
(Retail price $7/mask)
Next up we have a translucent setting powder from Ciate London.
I haven't personally tried this yet,
but the packaging is cute.
It is quite small, so good luck trying to get
a big brush in there.
I think it can be nice for dipping a small brush in to set undereyes/oily eyelids or just whatever smaller areas you want to target.
The mini size makes it easy to chuck into a purse when traveling, or if you just need touch-ups when you're out and about.
(Retail price $22 full size)
I'm super excited for this Mac Strobe Cream in "Pinklite", because as embarrassing as this is to admit, I've tried very few MAC products,
and I'm a huge fan of cream highlights.
I feel like they really create a beautiful dewy look on your skin, especially if you've been slacking on your skincare routine
and are in desperate need of a healthy glow.

I love the hint of baby pink shade that isn't too overpowering.
(Retail price $34 for full size)
Ok, can we talk about this eyeshadow from Helios Beauty for a second???
When I first saw I was getting it in my bag, I was skeptical because I couldn't find ANYTHING about this brand online.
I'm not sure if it's a new up and coming brand, but the lack of info on it made me feel uncertain about this brand.
Anywho, this is probably my most used product that I've incorporated into my everyday makeup routine. It's very "k-beauty-esque" because its a very sheer, but beautiful shimmer.
I use it as an eye primer and then go over with a matte shade, and it creates the most beautiful,
but subtle sparkle.
I've gotten a few compliments about how beautiful but gentle my eyeshadow looks when I've worn it out. Let me tell you, a sista hasn't heard a makeup compliment in a while, so that alone tells me something lol.
(Retail price $12)
Last we have this Pumpkin Seed Serum from Dermadeli, another brand I'm unfamiliar with.
To be honest, I actually gave this product away before even trying it,
so I'm not sure if it's any good.
I'm pretty picky when it comes to skincare,
and I prefer to stick to certain products.
This didn't seem like something I would be crazy about, but if you like pumpkin,
maybe you'll like it?
(Retail price for full size $35)
And that concludes what's in the bag for this month.
Overall, I would rate the bag a 4/5 this month.
If you're new to IPSY, it's a $10/month subscription service where you receive
4-5 beauty samples each month.
If you'd like to check out it out for yourself, you can do so HERE.
Are you subscribed to Ipsy?
If so, I'd love to know what you got in your bag!
